This case is about a tragic loss
of two innocent lives perpetrated by McAllen police.
The crime of murder by police, set in motion a conspiracy to cover-up, and involved collusion within the McAllen Police department. A mother and her son were killed by gun fire when Police ambushed the son and used the mother as a human shield when police opened fire at them. More than 20 shots were fired by police killing both the mother and her son. The mother was shot 13 times! She was 75 years old at the time of her horrific death. Placed by Police in such a vulnerable, dangerous, and critical situation, Dominga Saenz feared for her son's life as well as for her own, she desperately knelt down in prayer, for the love of God and her passion for Jesus Christ asked for salvation moments before their demise.
This is police brutality and deadly force, protected under "Official Immunity" or "Sovereign Immunity", a privilege granted to authorities which shows how we are losing our Human Rights and Civil Liberties. This case is under protest and has been appealed and denied. On April 4, 2011 the petition for writ of certiorari was denied by the U.S. Supreme Court. We must move toward constitutional rules and reform laws and implement policy and legislation which will guarantee Human Rights and Civil Liberties for every individual in every state and every city, not backward into privileged classes. We need to change our system of justice, remember today there is no closure in our family case; tomorrow it may be your case.
